General Studies Classes Coming to Mt. Vernon

As part of its mission to offer increased access to higher education within its service region, Eastern Kentucky University plans to offer courses toward the Associate Degree in General Studies at the Rockcastle Adult Education Center in Mt. Vernon.

LEAD is a success with help from EKU

LEAD Wayne County continues to flourish in its second year.  LEAD-Leaders Excel Above Distinction was created in 2014 to allow gifted students the opportunity to learn more about their community and the many career options available to them once they graduate from a college/university.

Faculty Focus | Keven McQueen

Keven McQueen was born in Richmond in 1967, and graduated with a M.A. in English from Eastern Kentucky University in 1991.

McQueen began his career at EKU in 1989, as an instructor in Department of English and Theatre. Since then, he has spent much of his time teaching at three of the regional campuses in Corbin, Manchester, and Danville, in addition to the Richmond campus.
