Meet Our Intern: Andrew Stofleth
Meet the Office of Engagement and Regional Stewardship's new intern, Andrew Stofleth. Stofleth, a senior majoring in public relations, recently finished a yearlong internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs where he assisted the Lexington VA Medical Center with public affairs activities. During his internship, his office won a Gold Aster Award in Medical Marketing for a their weekly blog.
Prior to VA, Stofleth was employed as a student worker at Eastern Kentucky University in External Affairs for the College of Business and Technology.
"Eastern has a lot going on, which is great if you're an aspiring public relations student. I'm excited about working with David and Karmen to support some of projects this semester," Stofleth said.
Stofleth also serves on the National Council of Students for The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, supporting students at 58 universities in the organizations north central region. He will be among the other EKU graduates in December, and is set to begin his Master's in Integrated Marketing Communications at West Virginia University in the spring.
